“Each day I’ve faced this storm and stood calm, or even held tight as it threatened to tear me away, or just laid down close to the ground and made my ears hear a different sound, where my eyes see the visions of my memory and my imagination, and the rest of my body exists no more. These are the days that I’ve been brave. ”

September 28th, 2008 at 5:39 pmI didn’t know Jasmine as well as I wish i did- I was so young.
I’ve always loved her as a sister and a mother.
The older kids in my family practically raised me, until they left. Maybe i was part of the problem(s).
I will always remember her for the ray of sunshine she was in my youth, even if she didn’t always feel that way. She stood strong through some shitty times- I needed that stability from her.
Even though she wasn’t around much in the childhood that i remember, it used to make my day just to be around her for one minute. Wherever she is, i know she is a lot happier.-From her loving younger brother, Tim

January 17th, 2009 at 5:28 pmThrough this Dutch webpage a news paper article was written titled “Mystery Grave stones discovered in the reef”
The article includes a picture of the Merenwijk, outside Leiden, the Netherlands; where Jasmine put the memorial stone for her boyfriend Hector Barragan-Barrigas when he died in 2000.
His stone reads “Love is Forever”
Two years later, her family placed a stone next to his to commemorate her death in 2002 with the spanish text “Nuestro amor es para siempre” which means “Our Love is Forever”
In the article it reads that they are unsure where the graves are of Jasmine and Hector.
they were both cremated. i suppose i should help them solve the mystery…see link with photo here:

January 26th, 2009 at 2:32 pmThrough this article,”Mysterieuze grafstenen in het riet”,the event of 13 April ,o2,suddenly came back to me again as heavy as before. I had to deal with it again, although we are dealing with it every day. This heartbreaking lovestory of my daughter and her lover. My daughter which I consider an angel, as several people had said, after she had taken her life:”An angel passed by”.So many mistakes can be made right again, except for one fatal act. the act that Jasmine undertook April 13 2002. But now we turn to the stones, and we hear one saying:”Love is for ever”. and the echo saying”Our love is for ever”.
