On August 10, 2008  RISE International, Safe Passage Foundation and United Youth Action for Progress (UYAP) held a worldwide memorial day to commemorate the deaths of children and adults born and/or raised in cults.  Memorial events took place in London (UK), Huntington Beach (California, USA)  and Gulu (Uganda).

This website has been created to honor the memory of the Lost Children.  It is still under development and we need your help to improve it.

  • If you have a deceased friend or relative born and/or raised in a cult whom you would like remembered here, please let us know.  You can email us their information or register an account here to to enter it yourself.  Multimedia content such as images, video and audio can also be added.
  • We are also actively seeking volunteers to help with various tasks including adding content, completing data collection, research and fact checking.
  • Please let us know if any information we have listed here is incorrect or incomplete and we will make sure it is corrected or updated as soon as possible.
  • For discussions of anything related to the memorial site, please visit the RISE International forum. If you need help or have a question you may also email us but in many cases it may be best to post it in the public forum there so that others may benefit from the answer.

    Thank you for doing what you do. I have a host of deceased relatives who died in a cult known as the Bahai faith.

    Thanks for your work. Mainly children suffer from being raised in destructive groups, where their rights are not respected, often resulting in premature death. FECRIS had a conference in that subject, see http://fecris.org, –> Conferences,–> Barcelona.

    Hi Patrick,
    I don’t yet have an entry on the Jehovah’s Witnesses but I plan to add one soon. I have been working on this in my spare time and am looking for people who would like to help add information to the site.
